Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This notice explains how Your Humanity Is Showing handles information when you visit this website or contact the podcast.

Messages you send us

When you use the contact form, we receive your email address, your message, and any other contact details you choose to provide. The website also records the submission time and your IP address. We use this information to respond to you, manage correspondence, and protect the form from abuse.

Messages are stored in the website database and sent to the podcast team by email. Website copies are automatically removed by a daily cleanup after they are older than 90 days. This also removes their associated submission details, including the recorded IP address.

Email correspondence and restricted backup or maintenance copies are stored separately and may remain longer than 90 days. Deleting a website submission does not automatically delete those copies. We also keep temporary delivery records so failed notification emails can be investigated or retried.

Website operation and security

Our hosting and security systems process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information, timestamps, and errors. We use this information to operate the site, troubleshoot problems, and limit spam or unauthorized login attempts. Routine web-server logs are normally kept for about two weeks; separately retained security records and backups may last longer.

Ordinary pages do not use an advertising or visitor-analytics tracker. WordPress may use essential browser storage for site features and cookies when an authorized editor signs in. Browser settings let you control cookies and stored site data.

YouTube videos and external links

Episode players load from YouTube only after you press Play. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. Once the player loads, YouTube and Google receive technical information needed to provide the video and may use cookies or other browser storage. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make playback anonymous.

See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles information. Links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Alitu, and other services take you to sites with their own privacy practices.

Services that help run the site

DigitalOcean provides website hosting. Brevo processes notification emails, which can include your contact details and message. Our email providers also process correspondence. Information is shared with these services as needed to host the website, deliver messages, and maintain security and backups.

More information is available in DigitalOcean’s Privacy Policy and Brevo’s Privacy Policy.

Contact and requests

For questions about this notice, or to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us, email contact@humanityshowing.com. We may need to verify that a request relates to you. Please do not send passwords or sensitive account information through the contact form.

We will update this notice when the website’s data handling changes.
